tesa® 51966
Is a transparent, double-sided industrial assembly tape with a backing made from 90% post-consumer recycled (PCR) PET and a highly tackified acrylic adhesive. This double-sided tape has been specifically designed for the converter and tape specialist sectors and is capable of withstanding numerous environmental factors such as humidity, UV light and temperatures of up to 130°C for limited periods. The tackified acrylic adhesive offers excellent adhesion to various surfaces, very high initial tack and good shear strength.
tesa® 51966 contains an average of 8% post-consumer recycled content, consisting of 90% recycled PET backing. The tape’s liner and core are classified as packaging materials and are excluded from the calculations of recycled content. This is a third-party validated environmental claim in accordance with the UL Environmental Claim Validation 2809 procedure for recycled content.
